New Music Venue The Factory To Open In St. Louis Region In 2021

The Factory, a new state of the art music and entertainment venue, is under construction and will open in St Louis, Missouri in 2021. The premiere 52,000 square foot event space, being developed by The Staenberg Group, will have capacity for up to 3,000 guests for national touring concerts. The Factory plans to work with a variety of agents, including selective outside promoters, representing a wide variety of music genres and performers.

Veteran talent buyer, festival producer and St. Louis native Dan Merker will be the exclusive Talent Buyer for the venue. Brian Carp (formerly of House of Blues in Anaheim and Dallas) will serve as The Factory’s Chief Operating Officer.

The open and spacious interior takes on an industrial vibe, which includes cues from old factories and manufacturing plants with finishes like weathered wood, metalwork stairs, exposed brick, vintage lighting fixtures and polished concrete.

The Factory will be the first venue of its kind constructed, owned and operated by a team with longstanding ties to the area. Sustaita Architects of Houston, Texas designed the facility, Chiodini Architects created the exterior and O’Toole Design Associates fashioned the ‘factory-themed’ interiors.
