New York Public Radio Presents New York Public Radio LIVE- A Benefit Party Celebrating WNYC and Gothamist

(New York, NY – May 23, 2019) – On Thursday, June 13, New York Public Radio (NYPR) will present “New York Public Radio LIVE,” a benefit party at Brooklyn Bowl in support of WNYC and Gothamist.
Hosted by Michelle Buteau of WNYC Studios’ newest podcast Adulting, the evening will feature special performances from music guests Real Estate and a DJ set by Yo La Tengo’s Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley, and of course, an opportunity to mix and mingle with WNYC favorites including:
- Brian Lehrer, host of The Brian Lehrer Show
- Jad Abumrad, co-host of Radiolab
- Kathy Tu and Tobin Low, co-hosts of Nancy
- Tanzina Vega, host of The Takeaway
- Molly Webster, producer at Radiolab
- Jake Dobkin and Jen Chung, co-founders of Gothamist
All proceeds support New York Public Radio, New York City’s source for news, culture, classical music, and storytelling.
