NoMBe heads out on SiriusXM Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour with Mikky Ekko and Mansionair

(New York, NY): SiriusXM and Live Nation will present Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour featuring (alphabetically), Mansionair, Mikky Ekko and NoMBe. The 18-city North American tour, which is the fourth such tour curated by SiriusXM's Alt Nation, will kick off April 10 at New York City's Gramercy Theatre. SiriusXM listeners will have the opportunity to purchase tickets on February 28 before they go on sale to the general public.

SiriusXM's Alt Nation is committed to finding and exposing the new artists pushing the sound of Alternative music forward in 2018. Alt Nation was one of the first places listeners could hear Mansionair's "Astronaut (Something About Your Love)," and this summer NoMBe's "Freak Like Me" was named an "Alt Nation Critical Cut." The channel has also been a strong, early supporter of Mikky Ekko's single "I'm Not the One."  

The tour offers listeners and music fans across North America the chance to see the type of new and emerging artists featured regularly on Alt Nation's new music show Advanced Placement which can be heard Thursdays at 3:00 pm EST.

SiriusXM and Live Nation presented Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour for the first time in 2015 featuring Pop Etc., The Moth & The Flame and Banners. The second Advanced Placement Tour in 2016 featured The Shelters, The Hunna and Night Riots. MISSIO, Coast Modern, 888 and Sundara Karma performed last year as part of the Advanced Placement Tour.

Alt Nation's Advanced Placement is a weekly show featuring new artists as well as new songs from Alt Nation artists. Hosted by Alt Nation's Jeff Regan, Advanced Placement introduces North America to new artists, spotlights music from new albums released that week, and deep tracks from Alt Nation artists. Listen to Alt Nation on SiriusXM radios, and those with streaming access can listen online, on-the-go with the SiriusXM mobile app and at home on a wide variety of connected devices including smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more.

SiriusXM listeners will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 2. The SiriusXM Presale will start on Wednesday, February 28 at 10am local time and will end on Thursday, March 1 at 10pm local time in each tour market.
