NPR First Listen Shares Valerie June's 'The Order Of Time' Ahead Of March 10th Release

Expanding on the electric tones of June's 2013 breakthrough, Pushin' Against A Stone, the Tennessee-bred, Brooklyn-based songwriter infused The Order of Time with wide-open, ethereal soundscapes; an intimate, inviting backdrop for these richly detailed character studies and June's one-of-a-kind voice.

The Order of Time has been met with impressive early acclaim. The Guardian's 4-STAR review said the new album "finds June full of childlike wonderment amid a gloriously ethereal atmosphere reminiscent of Van Morrison's Astral Weeks. Fantastic stuff."
