NPR Music Presents The 2014 Americana Music Honors & Awards Live In Exclusive Webcast, Sept. 17

September 15, 2014 - Washington, D.C. – To Nashville! NPR Music and Folk Alley return to “Music City” to webcast the 13th annual Americana Music Association’s Honors & Awards show on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Starting at 8PM ET, fans can watch the entire event, including performances by some of the genre’s biggest names, in a live video stream at NPR.org/music, WKSU’sFolkAlley.com and on participating public radio station websites.

Americana’s leading man, Jim Lauderdale, will once again host the night of honors and live music at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The show will feature more than 20 performances, including all four of the nominees for the Americana Music Association’s 2014 Artist of the Year - Jason Isbell, Robert Ellis, Rodney Crowell and Rosanne Cash – as well as Emmylou Harris, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Jackson Browne, JD Souther, Sturgill Simpson, Taj Mahal, Valerie June and many more.
