Today, NTWRK, North America’s premier livestream shopping platform, announces its official partnership with the largest art and toy convention in the US, DesignerCon. On August 25-26, NTWRK will host the official DesignerCon virtual festival, which will feature over 50 individual sellers going live to showcase their products, exclusively on the NTWRK app. The brand will also have a booth at Anaheim's DCON in November. As fans first, NTWRK curates a daily lineup of live editorialized shopping experiences around the world’s most covetable products and DesignerCon is no different.

• Brett Crawford Self made - Brett Crawford’s Self Made vinyl art toy (11.5″) by 3DRetro is Inspired by his original painting and the piece is a creative take on the classic tale of a wood boy. Embodying an entrepreneurial, DIY spirit, the piece features a modern wood boy in the final stages of carving himself out of a tree. As opposed to the fairytale, this wood character is very much a modern soul, from the backwards cap to the fresh sneakers.

• Jason Naylor Black OPN Heart  - Brooklyn-based artist Jason Naylor’s signature heart motif seen on numerous murals, designer handbags and even hot air balloons is set to make its art toy debut with the OPN Heart vinyl figure from 3DRetro.

• Aaron Kai Boxed Wave RED - Hawaiian-born Aaron Kai’s debut Boxed Wave Bluevinyl art toy from 3DRetro is set to drop this week on NTWRK. A passionate surfer in high school, Kai’s work flows with his stylized waves inspired by the legendary Hawaiian surf.Featuring an isolated section of one of Kai’s waves, Boxed Wave is perhaps not immediately connected to the ocean for those not familiar with the artist’s inspirations. For those in the know, the cresting red wave with pop art style foam and black motions is immediately recognizable. The art toy sits between Kai’s paintings of large waves and his more abstract patterns seen on apparel.

• ONCH x The Last Unicorn - Beloved fantasy film The Last Unicorn is kicking off its 40th Anniversary celebration year with an exclusive capsule collection featuring animation cels along with jewelry, enamel pins, and skateboard decks designed by ONCH. The capsule represents a global celebration, officially licensed by fans for fans. 

• Dalek Space Monkey - Space Money artist Dalek will release an exclusive pink edition of his Space Monkey collectible

• J Balvin x ToyQube Astroboy - J Balvin Astroboy figure 

• Rip N Dip x “Let’s Get This Bread” - exclusive figure that features Rip N Dip signature cat with a bread necklace

• Rojj RRAR Khaki x 3D Retro - Exclusive toy dropping, male figure in khaki in multi-colored

• Tristan Eaton x 3D Retro drop - Tristan Eaton is releasing a black vinyl figure called “Vice Lord,” and there are only 50 made worldwide. The first release was a large 5 foot statue, this is the first and only re-release of the original larger figure on a smaller scale. 

 

The partnership with DesignCon follows NTWRK’s wildly successful Unboxed festival, a two-day shopping experience dedicated to toys and collectibles, only on the NTWRK app in April 2022. Featuring some of the hottest designers and visual artists in the world including iconic visual artist Takashi Murakami, Superplastic and more, Unboxed was curated by streetwear star VERDY (Girls Don't Cry, Wasted Youth) and art directed by visual entrepreneur & fashion designer DJ Kevin Poon (CLOT, Nike, Adidas), who both released exclusive products during the festival. 

There’s no user manual for virtual festivals, but NTWRK is writing its own.
