NTWRK Teams Up With SOTO & Kierra Luv To Celebrate Women’s History Month

Exclusive Collection Drops Today At 5 PM PT

To kick off Women’s History Month this March, North America’s premiere livestream shopping platform NTWRK is joining forces with multidisciplinary artist SOTO and PA-based rapper Kierra Luv. Available on the NTWK app today (March 1) at 5 pm PT, the three-piece collection celebrates women in art and music from two female heavyweight creatives.

ABOUT SOTO

Manuela Soto Sosa (b.1991, Switzerland) (also known simply as “SOTO”) is a multidisciplinary artist known for creating her own truly unique style of anime inspired female figures that draw from her own personal experiences as well as latinx/urban/pop culture, designed to subvert sexual violence and the trauma of the patriarchy. SOTO’s art pushes and inspires many different kinds of people of all races, body types, genders and ages to love and discover their inner self. As a result Soto has established a worldwide audience that has developed a genuinely deep connection to the world of her art as well as to SOTO herself.

SOTO lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Her artistic practice spans across multimedia including fine art, illustration, tattoo, fashion, art direction and writing. Her work has been featured in publications such as i-D Magazine, V Magazine, Hypebeast, Love Watts, Art News and Office Magazine. She has collaborated with artists such as Billie Eilish and Lil Miquela to create signature artwork. In 2020 she opened SOFTFLEX Studio in Downtown Los Angeles, hosting star tattooist residencies and workshops for young artists to expand their horizons and learn from acclaimed creatives in different fields.

ABOUT KIERRA LUV

Often spitting so hard that tears stream down her face, Harrisburg, PA artist Kierra Luv raps with the surefire spirit, undeniable intensity and street wisdom of a hard-lived life. In her case, it took only 17 years to accrue such experience and the confidence to speak on it. Dropping a series of viral social media freestyles at a rapid pace, she not only amassed over 20 million views, but she also attracted the endorsement of everyone from Cardi B to No Jumper. In 2019, she landed her first record deal. Of Puerto Rican and African American descent, she grew up in her grandparents’ small house with “about nine other people” and faced turbulence brought on by “domestic violence and alcohol abuse.” After writing poetry to deal with her feelings, she started rapping. Inspired by Lil Wayne and Chris Brown, she auditioned for The Rap Game. Despite not making it on to the show, her numbers started to gradually increase online as she consistently posted freestyles. Her 2018 take on Cardi B’s “Money” exploded. It went from a plug on Say Cheese and WorldStarHipHop until Love & Hip-Hop star Tabius Tate passed it onto Cardi B who shared it on Instagram. Viewed over 14 million times in under six months, major labels clamored to sign Kierra in droves.
