Leading Livestream Shopping Platform NTWRK Teams Up With Intel and Visual Artist King Saladeen For Exclusive NFT & Prints Drop In Celebration of Intel® Evo™ Laptops
NFTs Will Be Displayed at NTWRK x Galore’s Star Studded Art Basel Party On December 1st from 7:00 - 9:30 pm ET at La Otra in Wynwood
Today, North America’s premier livestream shopping platform NTWRK announces a new collaboration with tech company Intel. In celebration of Intel® Evo™ Laptops, the two brands tapped visual artist King Saladeen to create the first ever and first to world Metaverse art collaboration, the Intel x King Saladeen NFT series.
West Philadelphia born and raised artist Raheem “King” Saladeen has worked with brands like NFL, Nike, Mercedes, Topps, Beats by Dre. Primarily self-taught, he’s become synonymous with his “Money Bear” works which helm a pop graffiti aesthetic. Saladeen has had his work displayed in the New York Stock Exchange & ComplexCon, partnered with Champion for an athletic wear capsule collection, and even has a 200-foot mural in the Philadelphia International Airport.
Since the age of five, Saladeen’s passion for the arts has been a consistent part of his life. Having been raised in a tough urban environment where artistic outlets were few and far between, Saladeen instead turned his attention to basketball. Through traveling, Saladeen saw numerous places where his eyes were opened to the landscapes, shapes and colors that were vastly different from what he saw on a day to day basis. These opportunities allowed him to daydream on a greater scale and be influenced and inspired in a fresh way. In an effort to promote fearlessness and the idea that no one should be boxed in, Saladeen’s art continues to meld the art world with fashion, music and now tech.
King Saladeen’s art focuses on intricate, futuristic and cutting edge design which makes a perfect pairing with a tech forward company like Intel. A champion of the digital space and innovative technologies, Saladeen has created numerous NTFs and believes that Intel® Evo™ Laptops, can help artists take their work to the next level. By debuting this exclusive collection at Art Basel, both Intel and NTWRK are elevating King Saladeen’s creativity at one of the biggest art fairs in the world.
The Intel x King Saladeen NFT series includes two NFTS which were made on an Intel® Evo™ Laptop. The digital art will be on display during NTWRK x Galore’s star studded Art Basel party on December 1st from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at La Otra in Wynwood, which will feature a massive in person installation from King Saladeen, high energy DJ sets, VIP guests and more (for more info on the party, contact Mikaela Duhs / mduhs@shorefire.com)
Each NFT features King Saladeen’s iconic bear image graphic. In one eye, viewers see a wifi symbol to symbolize the lightning fast internet speeds of Intel® Evo™ Laptops, while the other eye features the visual artist's signature money sign. Each unique piece of digital artwork in this series will be created exclusively using Intel® Evo™ Laptops, and celebrate the power of innovation while uplifting creators, like King Saladeen.
