NY Times Streams Liam Hayes' New LP 'Slurrp' (Jan.13/ Fat Possum) As Album Earns UK Raves From MOJO, Uncut And More

Head over to the New York Times to stream Liam Hayes' new LP 'Slurrup' a week before its release on Fat Possum. Hayes has been called "one of the most charismatic and eccentric cult pop craftsmen of the past 20 years" by Uncut and his new album is already earning rave reviews. MOJO called it "vivid of hook and big of heart," adding it "screams '1966!,' with its aching chord changes and spare, effervescent production delivering bubblegum rock and Bacharach-style pop with the lightest dusting of psychedelic glitter." Liam will play select North American dates in support of 'Slurrup' later this month with the same three-piece band that recorded the album, including John San Juan on bass and Eric Reidelberger on drums/percussion (schedule below).
