NYC photo legend speaks w/ Anthony DeCurtis at Rough Trade + more
Photographer Deborah Feingold began her career in NYC in the late 1970s and has since photographed four decades worth of the biggest musicians, actors and world leaders in the culture (she shot the cover of Barack Obama’s ‘Audacity of Hope’). Deborah will celebrate the Sept. 30 release of her first photo anthology ‘Music,' at Brooklyn's Rough Trade on September 8. She’ll be joined in conversation with Grammy award-winning music critic Anthony DeCurtis, who also wrote the book’s introduction.
‘Music’ features iconic, revealing portraits of musicians ranging from Bono, Keith Richards, James Brown and Madonna to Philip Glass, Don Cherry, Brian Eno and Grace Jones - and Deborah has vivid stories to share about each of them.
In addition to Rough Trade, Deborah has confirmed book signing events at Barnes & Noble locations in Tribeca, Staten Island and Long Island. See below for details.
