"The Silver Gymnasium" video game pays homage to the video games of Will Sheff's childhood in the 1980s (such as "Leisure Suit Larry," "Maniac Mansion," and "King's Quest") and features a soundtrack of chiptune versions of new songs arranged and recorded by Sheff, including "Pink-Slips," "Stay Young," "On a Balcony," "Down Down the Deep River," "Lido Pier Suicide Car," "Where the Spirit Left Us," "White," "Walking Without Frankie," and "It Was My Season."
Text within the game was written by Sheff and Miles.
