Old Sea Brigade has shared "Monochrome," the high-energy and harmony-laden new offering from his upcoming record 5AM Paradise (out October 28 on Nettwerk). An exploration of the boredom and loneliness that can accompany newfound adulthood, "Monochrome" works to purge that negativity through a rush of enthralling synths and vibrant melodies that bolster a  chorus of arena-sized proportions. At the heart of an album recently deemed "his most expansive work yet" by Under The Radar, "Monochrome" embodies its "sharply-written threads of aging, youthful longing, and newfound maturity on a coming-of-age record of vivid scale."

In the lead up to 5AM Paradise, Old Sea Brigade has gone from making "some of the best quarantine art" (Consequence) to playing legendary stages across the United States like New York's Town Hall and San Francisco's Fillmore. "Monochrome," like much of the new album, features collaborations with some of the most accomplished musicians from Old Sea Brigade's Nashville community - including the song's co-writer Trent Dabbs (who also co-wrote Kacey Musgraves' "High Horse") and backing from Eli Beaird (Willie Nelson, Ruston Kelly), Kris Donegan (Mickey Guyton, Hayes Carll) and Julian Dorio (Amanda Shires, Eagles Of Death Metal). The ten-song collection was recorded in a handmade studio high-atop the mountains of North Carolina by the artist and his longtime collaborators/producers Owen Lewis and Jeremy Griffith (who also perform on "Monochrome").
