Before kicking off its biggest and most groundbreaking year to date next week, On Air Fest has announced its next series of programming updates and additions. From Feb 23-25 at Brooklyn's Wythe Hotel, the event hailed as "the Coachella of podcast festivals" (Fast Company) will now welcome a special session from Audible and Higher Ground Audio, on the making of Michelle Obama: The Light Podcast. From the Main Stage, Audible EVP and Head of US Content Rachel Ghiazza and Higher Ground Head of Audio Dan Fierman will offer attendees a first look at the new series centered around one of the most iconic women of all time. Ahead of its March 7th release, the early preview of Michelle Obama: The Light Podcast will feature behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the inaugural project from Audible and Higher Ground's multi-year partnership, focused on producing content that reflects the companies' shared mission of telling meaningful stories to elevate diverse voices and experiences.

The conversation from Ghiazza and Fierman will follow a Main Stage set from Slow Burn: Roe v. Wade, where the team behind Apple's 2022 podcast of the year will now be joined by Jenny Ma, a senior counsel on the Dobbs Case and experienced litigator leading reproductive rights cases in state and federal courts. Together with host Susan Matthews and producers Samira Tazari and Sophie Summergrad, she will analyze the state of reproductive justice in a post-Dobbs US, as well as the making of the series.
