Oneohtrix Point Never Announces MYRIAD Performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, October 22nd
New LP 'Age Of' (Warp) is "Brain-Bending" (Rolling Stone), Out Now
Today, Oneohtrix Point Never has announced that MYRIAD, his acclaimed medium-spanning installation and four-part epochal song-cycle, will come to Los Angeles's Walt Disney Concert Hall on October 22nd, presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. This follows three sold-out performances of MYRIAD at the Park Avenue Armory in May as presented by Park Avenue Armory and The Red Bull Music Festival New York. Oneohtrix Point Never's "truly staggering" (Stereogum) new album 'Age Of' (Warp) released to international acclaim last week.
Tickets for the performance go on-sale Friday, June 8th. Available here: laphil.com/OPN

MYRIAD's initial run of performances received raves from The New York Times, ARTNews, Resident Advisor, The Ringer, and more. The performances featured OPN's first-ever live ensemble comprising Kelly Moran, Aaron David Ross and Eli Keszler as well as guest spots from Kelsey Lu and Prurient, hanging sculpture, toxic-cowboy-styled dancers, an inflatable black mass, and an array of otherworldly animations. Select performances of MYRIAD are also forthcoming at The Barbican in London (July 7, sold out), and O-EAST, Tokyo (September 12), among others to be announced shortly.

Praise for 'Age Of' and MYRIAD
"The music didn't have to explain itself. It billowed and throbbed, tinkled and crashed, swooped and pealed around the grand space. No narrative, no matter how cosmic, could match the sound." - The New York Times, on MYRIAD
"[Oneohtrix Point Never] led a quartet that mixed the classical sounds of civilizations past with synth music of the future, all powerfully delivered in the now." - Resident Advisor, on MYRIAD
"Watching MYRIAD live was the closest I have ever gotten to feeling like I'm inside an 'Alien' movie, and probably the closest I ever hope to come." - The Ringer, on MYRIAD
"Brain-bending" -- Rolling Stone, on 'Age Of'
"Everything you could hope for from an OPN record, but somehow on a much larger, grander scale...an absolute necessary front to back listen." -- The FADER, on 'Age Of'
"[Oneohtrix Point Never's] most collaborative and accessible solo project to date, yet still full of unexpected chaos and songs that can suddenly dissolve and disarm." - Pitchfork
"Paranoid and beautiful - filled with dread, anxiety, and a fractured take on rock mythology as filtered through prog, smooth jazz, and noise music." - Vulture, on 'Age Of'
"Futurist fantasia...elegiac on both a personal and cosmic scale." - Noisey, on 'Age Of'
"[Oneohtrix Point Never's] strangest, most ambitious work yet" - SPIN (Essential Album)
"Truly staggering...['Age Of'] is so beautiful and strange and off-kilter and absorbing - a lovely and insular personal pop album, warped beyond all recognition." - Stereogum, Album Of The Week
"Excellent...remarkably accessible yet still resolutely avant-garde work" - The A.V. Club
"Breaks new ground...the sound of an internet addict sifting through the digital ruins, part of a culture jamming legacy for future generations, should they exist." - Resident Advisor, on 'Age Of'
"Stunning contemporary electronic suite, of symphonic melody, urgent chases, chaotic trap and mournful balladeering." - The Guardian
"Oneohtrix Point Never's moment is here... a brilliant new album" - The Ringer
