Open Mike Eagle has announced his 19-date fall headlining tour, the ‘Tour of the Robert Taylor Homes Tour,’ beginning September 15 in Dallas and ending October 26 in San Francisco. A full list of tour dates is below. Tickets go on sale July 14. He will tour this summer as well, with Aesop Rock for select dates in July that have been previously announced.

Open Mike Eagle will be busy in the months ahead, in addition to the ‘Tour of the Robert Taylor Homes Tour.’ Comedy Central announced in April that they have picked up a TV series called ‘The New Negroes,’ based on Mike and Baron Vaughn’s live show of the same name. He’s also working on new music for Mello Music Group.

Open Mike Eagle’s last solo album release, 2014’s ‘Dark Comedy’ was included on SPIN and Rolling Stone’s “Best Rap Albums of 2014” list and was called “one of the most compelling indie-rap listens of the year” by Pitchfork. In 2016 he released ‘Hella Personal Film Festival’ with Paul White (Charli XCX, Danny Brown). The “art rap” MC, film/TV writer, podcast host and comedian polymath has also appeared on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast and the Eric Andre Show, and has performed with Thundercat and Flying Lotus on Hannibal Buress’s Comedy Central series.
