(New York, NY) Parsonsfield, the New England group making “the most jubilant and danceable indie roots music this side of the Carolinas” (NPR), have partnered with American Songwriter to share the music video for their brand new song “Til I Die.” The second offering from the band’s upcoming album Happy Hour On The Floor (out April 3rd on Signature Sounds), “Til I Die” was written by Parsonsfield for lead singer Chris Freeman’s wedding and was performed by the band at the ceremony.

Jokingly referred to as an “emo/goth first dance,” the song celebrates the joyous occasion while keeping a wandering mind on the inevitable. Coupled with pounding drums and vocal arrangements inspired by the group’s love of British Isles folk music (a mutual obsession since their college days) – “Til I Die” is ultimately a meditation on how unconditional love can make a person feel so powerful yet also powerless at the same time.

Fused by unique instrumentation and digitized touches...'Til I Die' floats through beautiful harmonies and enveloping lyrics": https://americansongwriter.com/parsonfield-find-their-happy-union-on-new-single-til-i-die/tina-benitez-eves/

Additionally, Parsonsfield have just been tapped as a Band You Should Know by NPR’s Boston-area affiliate WGBH. In a wide-ranging interview with the station, the Somerville, MA group talk about their tight-knit local music community, their earliest days playing house shows and busking in the region, and their interests outside of music - from John Updike to robotics engineering: https://www.wgbh.org/local/2020/02/20/bands-you-should-know-parsonsfield
