The fourth video in the weekly Mighty SONG Writers series, from Philadelphia non-profit Mighty Writers and media platform Literary Hub, comes from Emmy-nominated writer, actor, director, poet, and musician Phil Augusta Jackson.
In his video, Jackson gives advice to young writers and describes the influence of a high school teacher on his own path to becoming a writer across TV, music, and poetry. He also shares an original poem and performs songs from his upcoming EP The Redondo Tape and a Solange cover.
