Puddles Pity Party, The Sad Clown With The Golden Voice, Announces Biggest, Most Extensive North American Tour To Date

World-Renowned Performance Artist Will Bring His Singular Multimedia Show To DC's Kennedy Center, LA's Fonda Theater And 30+ Other Major Theaters

Puddles Pity Party, the sad clown with the golden voice, will embark on the most extensive tour of his career thus far, which kicks off this summer and continues through the end of 2018. The tour will see Puddles Pity Party headlining his biggest venues to date, including DC's Kennedy Center, LA's Fonda Theater, plus many more dates to be announced soon. The tour marks a pivotal moment for Puddles Pity Party, whose unique brand of performance art - equal parts humorous and heartbreaking - has gained worldwide recognition ranging from the 16 million viewers of America's Got Talent, where he was a quarter finalist, to critics at the NY Times who hailed his "textured voice laced with melancholy."

The 90-minute solo show will feature Puddles Pity Party's indelible and heart-wrenching interpretations of classics by Bowie, Cheap Trick, Queen, Johnny Cash, the Pixies, Simon & Garfunkel, My Chemical Romance and more. But this Pity Party is not all sadness and longing - the show is peppered with a brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing humor with awkward, tender moments, a combination that the Atlanta Journal-Constitution dubbed "Pagliacci by way of Pee-Wee Herman and David Lynch."

A performer's performer, Puddles has received celebrity endorsements and accolades from the likes of Paul Reubens, Jack Black, Penn Jillette, Michael McKean, Dave Foley, Eric Idle, Drew Carey, Nick Offerman, The Who, Cheap Trick, Les Claypool, Moby, Natalie Dormer, Matthew Gubler, Bobcat Goldthwait and many more. His appeal traverses ages and demographics, and he is well-known for his viral YouTube videos of fan-favorite covers, in addition to his frequent collaborations with musical collective Postmodern Jukebox. Puddles Pity Party has earned praise from Simon Cowell, who called him "fantastically brilliant...originality at its best," LA Weekly, who called him "clever and often hysterically funny," and the Boston Globe, who declared, "when Puddles opens his mouth to sing, it's beautiful. Operatic."
