With a hot pink beard, a dirty South swagger and an Alabama preacher’s son soul, PYNK BEARD -- the performance name of GRAMMY-winning songwriter Sebastian Kole whose songs have been recorded by Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Alessia Cara, John Legend, Walker Hayes and more -- is blazing a new trail in Country music with his Red Bull Records debut EP ‘Red Dirt Diaries,’ out today (10.17).

Bold, playful and rooted in Southern storytelling, ‘Red Dirt Diaries’ serves as a 5-song self-portrait inviting listeners to ride shotgun with PYNK BEARD through the chapters of his personal and artist journey, kicking up a little dust along the way.
“Red Dirt Diaries is the beginning of my origin story,” says PYNK BEARD. "It’s a double entendre about my relationship with music and romantic relationships. It’s the story of trying and failing but getting back up and trying it all again. It’s a testimony of the highs and lows. It’s all about encouragement and not giving up on love.”
Featuring collaborations with Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman (J. Cole, Hozier), Sean Small (Lizzo), and Trevor Brown (Demi Lovato, Jessie Murph) and more of the top names in music, ‘Red Dirt Diaries’ delivers songs drenched in gospel soul, R&B groove, bluesy heart and Country grit -- part Sunday soul and part Saturday night hoedown.
Toeing the line between reflection and individualist rebellion, the anthemic opener “I Lived” finds PYNK BEARD establishing the legacy he’ll leave when he’s gone. The sultry, tongue-in-cheek slow-burner “2 Rich For My Blood” is an ode to being dangerously in over your head in high maintenance romance that’s well worth it, while the boot-stomping, unapologetically Southern feel-good jam “Mine, Lord Willing” is a celebration of love. The charismatic closing track “SIP” is an all-out party that dares listeners to try resisting the dance floor.
The EP’s focus track and emotional center, “One More Slow Dance” is a testament to staying resilient in love and life. It offers healing and hope for the broken hearts. Listen here: youtu.be/u5o8PaPPtF0?si=wRpxLyS96gPKMKIA
"If you’ve ever given up on love, this song is for you,” PYNK BEARD says of the track. "I wrote it after coming out of the worst relationship I’d ever been in. I felt like I tried to do everything right, but it still didn’t work out. Just when I was about to throw in the towel, someone came along and gave me my smile back. This song was written to share that feeling with the world. No matter if it’s your career, family, or romance -- get your smile back. It’s WORTH IT!”
An award-winning songwriter sought after by the biggest names in pop music, PYNK BEARD (aka Sebastian Kole), is now stepping into his own spotlight, leaning into a Country identity that has lived within him all along. With a powerful voice and smartly crafted lyrics, PYNK BEARD is ready to tell his story.
