Eight-time GRAMMY Award-winning jazz artist Christian McBride is continuing his work with Qobuz, the high quality music streaming and download platform, as its next Artist-Approved Sound Spokesperson. As a passionate Qobuz subscriber himself, McBride will create content with Qobuz throughout 2023 to help spread the word about its unique offerings and the benefits of Hi-Res music to music lovers all around the world. McBride follows The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne as Qobuz’ first Artist-Approved Sound Spokesperson in 2022.

McBride and Qobuz teamed up for the first time In 2021 for the exclusive, made-for-Qobuz, end-to-end Hi-Res recording and original EP, The Q Sessions. Speaking about the music he recorded for Qobuz at the time, McBride said “I’m thrilled we captured these performances in Hi-Res audio and can deliver them to the listener without compromise, and I look forward to more with Qobuz.”
