Qobuz introduces Label and Award Pages

A New Way to Discover Music

Paris, April 3rd 2025 - Qobuz, the French high-quality music platform, introduces Label and Award pages, two new features offering music lovers a new and unique way to explore and deepen their listening experience. With dedicated spaces for record labels and award-winning albums, users can effortlessly discover new releases, iconic catalogs, and critically acclaimed music—all with a level of curation rarely found on streaming services.

Label pages: Discover music by label

In line with their differentiation from mainstream music streaming platforms, Qobuz’s new offering allows subscribers to dive deeper into label catalogs.

Through dedicated pages, users can access popular tracks, new releases, upcoming music, and standout artists from their favorite record labels.

  • Labels may already appear in a user’s library, automatically added based on listening habits and favorite music.
  • Label pages can be accessed directly from any album by tapping the label icon.
  • Labels can be followed for quick access anytime from a user’s library.

Some popular labels to explore:

  • Blue Note, the legendary label of jazz history, home to some of the greatest names in the game, from Miles Davis and John Coltrane to Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins and Lee Morgan, and which continues to publish albums by the best contemporary jazzmen.
  • Deutsche Grammophon, the Rolls-Royce of “classical” labels, combining historic reference discs with new recordings by today's great virtuosos.
  • Warp, where the most innovative electronic musicians (Aphex Twin) rub shoulders with today's most fascinating hacks (Mount Kimbie).
  • Motown, the embodiment of the most influential soul music.
  • 4AD, the cult label founded by Ivo Watts-Russell and Peter Kent in 1980, is still synonymous with independence, avant-garde, quality, and originality.

Award pages – Explore acclaimed music

Qobuz’s new Awards pages showcase a curated selection of award-winning albums. From prestigious international honors to Qobuz's own accolades, users will find music that truly stands out.

  • Ideal Discography: The essential collection of the greatest albums across all genres. These landmark records have shaped music history and continue to inspire generations.
  • Album of the Week: A can't-miss release selected every Friday by our editorial team.
  • Qobuzissime: Qobuz’s exclusive award recognizing an artist’s first or second album. The award spans genres, recognizing outstanding music from emerging talents to bold artistic projects, and truly exceptional releases.

May we suggest some Qobuzissimes to start with :

  • Gabi Hartmann, the French revelation mixing jazz, folk, world and pop, singing in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish. Listen to La femme aux yeux de sel
  • Ela Minus, the Colombian magician currently shaking up the electronic scene. Listen to DÍA
  • Moses Yoofee Trio, the Berlin band that's revolutionizing jazz today. Listen to MYT

Qobuz Label and Award pages are available now globally on the latest version of the Qobuz mobile app for iOS and Android, and soon on all of our apps.
