Qobuz named Official Streaming Platform at New York Audio ShowOnline, High-End Streaming and Downloading Music Provider to offer NY Audio Show Attendees and Exhibitors an Early Opportunity t
Qobuz (pronounced Co-buzz), the world’s first certified Hi-Res Audio streaming and downloading service, continues its North American road-show this fall in advance of its coming US launch as the Official Streaming Platform at the third annual New York Audio Show, November 9th – 11th in Manhattan at the Park Lane Hotel.
The NYAS will feature some of the best music playback systems in the world using Qobuz as the music source, and setting the standard for streaming quality.
Qobuz made a splash last month in Denver as the official Hi-Res partner of the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, and will be available to NY Audio Show-goers to experience just how pristine streaming can sound first hand through all of the most amazing high-end sound systems on display at the show.
Paul McGowen, President of PS Audio in Boulder said, “We’ve tried all of the streaming music services, and Qobuz is far and away the best-sounding. It’s not even subtle---you can tell in ten seconds. Maybe five.”
“Qobuz is a dream comes true for all. It is easy to use, has incredible sound, and is available in a wide range of curated music. I use it everywhere even while I am driving" said Jack Wu, co-founder of Woo Audio.
Qobuz will be passing out goose bumps through some of the best sound systems in the world at the NYAS. Attendees will receive free Qobuz preview accounts to try for themselves.
Roy Bird of the Chester Group, parent company of New York Audio Show, said "We’re proud to have Qobuz as the official streaming platform at the NYAS. They have far-and-away more hi-res files than anyone, and sound quality is obviously job one. "
Qobuz is the highest resolution music-streaming service in the world, providing users with the most in-depth and interactive music experience possible. Starting with 40-million CD quality tracks and over two million high-resolution up to 24-bit / 192 kHz tracks, Qobuz has by far the largest high-resolution streaming library available. Qobuz works on Mac/iOS/Android/Windows operating systems, and is integrated with all of the most prestigious Hi-Fi brands.
Subscribers also have access to the company’s digital magazine, which is loaded with exclusive and in-depth, made-for-music-lovers articles, music reviews, videos, and interviews. There are thousands of digital booklets and exclusive news, all expertly curated- the editorial library is always changing, growing, and never dull.
“The timing is perfect for high-resolution music in North America. Internet speed is plenty high enough to stream Hi-Res files without a glitch. And, we’re right around the corner from 5G, which will perform even better," commented David Solomon, Qobuz chief Hi-Res music evangelist.
Founded in 2007, Qobuz is a Paris-based commercial online music streaming and downloading service that addresses the needs of curious and discerning music lovers across the globe. It is currently available in 11 European countries and will launch in the US in late 2018. Complementing its unparalleled expertise in sound quality, Qobuz offers an exceptional range of music genres as well as exclusive editorial content independently curated by a team of experts. Qobuz offers subscription to streaming services with genuine CD quality audio of more than 40-million tracks and over 2 million hi-res tracks up to 24/192 resolution from all genres.
