Quarters (fka Quarters Of Change) Usher In A New Chapter With Star / Plummet

2026 North American Headline Tour On Sale In Support of Forthcoming Third Record

Friday, November 14 - Today, NYC-born and raised rock band Quarters (FKA Quarters of Change) releases a double pack of singles STAR / PLUMMET: the first sample of new music off their forthcoming third album, set to release in March 2026 via Warner Music Group/Sparta. Tickets are available for purchase today (HERE). Doubling down on guitar-driven chords and steadying drums, Quarters reemerge “as the contemporary New York rock band to beat” (The Aquarian). The new singles mark a stark departure from their indie rock roots, entrenching the trio as a full-scale rock act. PLUMMET captures the turbulence of an ego in free-fall – Roter’s bold decorations to “come break a piece of me” are countered with a subsequent admission, “the moments in between were just a loss.” As a counterpart, STAR paints the softer elements of Quarters' new sound. Anchored by a synced rhythm section and driven by a palette rich with reverb, STAR stands out as a sonic statement.

Quarters shares“When we sat down to make this record, two years had passed, and the foundation of our band was being tested. We traveled the world, revisited old ideas, and thoughtfully repurposed them. What we ended up with was the bones of what came before, but the shine of something brand new.” says Harris

“And we did it all alongside the history of Vienna, the lakes of South Carolina, and the push and pull of New York and LA.” Roter adds.

“We’re putting everything on the line to be the band we’ve always wanted to be. For the first time ever, there are no distractions. We have complete trust in ourselves."

Known for electric live shows with blistering guitar solos, punchy drum fills, and anthemic vocals, Quarters leaves their fans, new and old, insatiable. Starting as childhood friends - Attila Anrather (drums), Jasper Harris (guitars, bass, synths), and Ben Roter (vocals) - lean on trust in each other’s creativity, formed from their high school days breaking into music classrooms after hours. With such a determination and belief in their musical vision, Quarters found themselves sharing the stage with groups like Two Door Cinema Club, Bad Suns, and the Jonas Brothers. In December, Quarters will embark on a UK / EU support leg for The Band Camino prior to a world headline tour, which will include two consecutive plays at NYC’s Irving Plaza - their biggest feat to date (tickets available for purchase HERE).
