(New York, NY): Today, R&B collaboration Lo Boii, comprised of producer/writer Aalias and writer/ vocalist Corey Latif, released new track "Sweeter" off their upcoming debut EP 'Sex Doesn’t Sell...Anymore' out July 26th via AWAL.

"Sweeter" is pure NYC vibes with a "new wave" genre bounce according to Lo Boii and opens with mellow vocals cascading over a soft snap and low drum.

Having been behind some of the biggest hit songs in the past decade, the new duo released their debut track "Floor Seats" earlier this year that Rated R&B called an “entrancing track that pulls you in from start to finish.”

The debut EP was written and recorded in Aalias’ home studio, as the pair prefer creating in familiar settings over professional studios. With their upcoming collection of songs, the pair unite to showcase unparalleled production, deep soul roots paired with a hit-making pop sensibility, a gorgeous falsetto, and knack for crafting catchy hooks.

Lo Boii will celebrate the release with their debut performance at NYC’s SoHo House on Saturday, July 6th. The R&B duo will open for Kidepo, an artist who bridges the gap between electric and soul music.

More on Lo Boii:

Aalias co-produced the Grammy-winning Eminem and Rihanna smash single "The Monster," co-produced DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine's worldwide hit "Middle" and lent a hand in producing for Bebe Rexha, Melanie Martinez, Kevin Garrett, Robin Schulz and Ro James. Latif, mentored by Teddy Pendergrass, wrote Usher's single "Crash" and has been nominated for two Grammys for his songwriting. He has written for artists ranging from The Roots, Saint Jhn, Snakehips, Two Feet, Chris Brown, and more.
