Robin Eisenberg & Polly Nor love this psych-pop artist

London-based psych pop enigma Chelou has some trippy visuals

The phenom, who's gone from crafting soul-tinged DIY soundscapes in his home to playing Glastonbury Music Festival, kicks off his bicoastal tour in September at Brooklyn venue Baby's All Right (9.17), culminating at The Moroccan Lounge (9.24) in Los Angeles. Chelou collaborated with illustrators Polly Nor and Robin Eisenberg to bring their artwork to life on his tracks "Halfway to Nowhere" and "Out of Sight."

Robin Eisenberg evokes the strangeness and psychedelia in Chelou's style through her purple three-eyed cool girl alien and her furry companion taking on space in their top-down flying convertible.

Lo-fi bedroom produced, "Halfway To Nowhere" includes visuals from Polly Nor, an artist who depicts reconciling with and embracing our inner demons. Made with a dictaphone and a guitar missing two of its strings, Nor brings truth to the breezy track through her portrait of a real female form, messy room, and the subject's devil inside her.
