“(Roosevelt) Balances '80s-inspired synth, disco, driving beats and cinematic textures into a musical amalgamation that simultaneously manages effervescence and heft.” – Billboard

Roosevelt returns with the new singles ‘On My Mind’ and ‘About U’ diving headfirst into the 00s for some French Touch inspiration. Expect electronic pulses, melodic synth euphonies and nostalgic memories.

'On My Mind' and 'About U' were two demos that I was working on while I was finishing Polydans late last year. I listened to a lot of early 2000s French House music at the time, so the songs were heavily influenced by acts like Stardust, Roger Sanchez, Benjamin Diamond or Room 5. The sounds of these records are still in my memory from watching MTV as a kid, so there was something really nostalgic in producing this release. I didn't want to put them on 'Polydans', as they are sounding more electronic, less organic as the album, however they still feel like the same chapter to me. These will be part of the deluxe version of the album, that will come out later this year. – Marius Lauber

The two songs will also be available as a limited vinyl 12” that can be pre-ordered on Roosevelt bandcamp now:https://iamroosevelt.bandcamp.com/

The two tracks are an extension of his most successful album to date, ‘Polydans’, which has seen him record live sessions for SPIN [Watch Here], Fender’s ‘Artist Check-In’ and a very special soon to be released session with KEXP featuring the first ever live version of this new release, as well as interviews with Apple Music 1, Filter, Rolling Stone, Interview Mag, Clash, Earmilk, Brooklyn Vegan, Talkhouse and many more.

Excitingly after over a year off the road, Roosevelt can now announce his fourteen-date North America Tour, on sale Friday 25th June, followed by a rescheduled European Tour for Spring 2022. Sadly, the European dates initially planned for September this year have had to be postponed due to the pandemic. All tickets will be transferred to the March 2022 shows or are refundable.

Support for the North American leg of the tour will be the 2 time number 1 album charting band ‘Bilderbuch’, from Austria. In Europe expect to see a rising star ‘M.Byrd’ and in Spain ‘John Moods’ will support.
