Seeker Music makes Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies 2025
Seeker Music, the songwriter-led music rights, publishing, and record company, has made Fast Company's list for the Most Innovative Companies (Music) of 2025. Read more [and check out its placement, #2 just behind Kendrick Lamar's pgLang] - HERE.
Founded by M&G Investments, and led by CEO Evan Bogart, the songwriter behind hits like Beyoncé’s“Halo” and Rihanna’s “SOS,” Seeker made this year's list because of its signature, creator-led approach to catalog acquisition and song management, guided by amplifying the untapped creative potential in pre-existing material, and sharing that music with new audiences by “flipping” it into new songs. The most successful example of this is Shaboozey’s 2024 hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" which flips J-Kwon’s “Tipsy," a copyright in the Seeker catalog. Since its release, "A Bar Song" has gone 5x platinum in the US alone and is tied for the longest-running #1 song to top the Billboard charts along with “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X. Seeker is also dipping into older catalogs within its 14,000+ song stockpile, recognizing the potential to revisit and interpolate hits by artists like Christopher Cross, Donna Summer, The Go-Go’s, and Mark Morrison of “Return of the Mack” fame.
2024 marked the official launch of Seeker’s innovative Samplémoose platform — a collection of pre-cleared stems, beats, loops and already-started "flips" curated by the Seeker creative team and readymade to be shared with producers and songwriters. In April, Seeker acquired the catalog of Grammy-nominated producer Marcos “Kosine” Palacios, whose credits include “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj and “Birthday Cake” by Rihanna, and named him the first Samplémoose Ambassador, in a partnership that emphasizes Seeker’s continued effort to transform existing IP into tomorrow’s next big hit.
