4x Olympic medalist Shawn Johnson East and former NFL player Andrew East were unveiled in today’s (8.6) cast announcement for the upcoming season of FOX’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The new season will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 25th on FOX. 

Shawn and Andrew join other castmembers, including: Jussie Smollett, Teresa & Gia Giudice, Eva Marcille, Kody Brown, Brittany Cartwright, Randall Cobb, Jessie James Decker & Eric Decker, Mark Estes, Chanel Iman, Brianna LaPaglia, Johnny Manziel, Ravi V. The Nashville-based couple and parents of three (under age 5!) are teammates by choice, competitors by nature. Andrew is a former NFL player, and Shawn is a 4x Olympic medalist, who was recently just named one of AdWeek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports. Shawn alone has a digital presence boasting more than 13.9 million followers across all platforms and an astounding 1.97 billion views in 2024 alone. 

Last year, the Easts launched their Moment Makers Foundation with the Moment Makers Grant around the 2024 Paris Olympics, which supported moms and dads competing in the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games with assistance with their child care needs.
