Shore Fire Clients Earn 14 GRAMMY Nominations Across Multiple Fields
Two each for Bon Iver's '22, A Million,' William Bell and Natalie Grant; Herb Albert, Judy Collins & Ari Hest, Elvis Costello, Maxwell, O'Connor Band With Mark O'Connor and Okee Dokee Brothers also receive nods.
Shore Fire Media's roster showcased its breadth and diversity with Grammy nominations spanning Alternative, R&B, Americana, Jazz, Folk, Bluegrass, Contemporary Christian, Children's, Spoken Word and other fields Tuesday. Shore Fire congratulates the clients we represented in the past year who collectively earned 14 GRAMMY nominations in as many categories.
Bon Iver's '22, A Million' earned nods for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package. Soul legend Bell received a Best American Album for 'This Is Where I Live,' his first major release in almost four decades; one of that album's tracks, "The Three of Me," picked up another for Best Traditional R&B Performance. Grant had one nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album ('Be One') and another for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song ("King of the World").
Herb Alpert, Judy Collins & Ari Hest, Elvis Costello, Maxwell, the O'Connor Band With Mark O'Connor and the Okee Dokee Brothers also received nominations, as did recordings by Bonnie Raitt and Jazz at Lincoln Center With Wynton Marsalis.
Shore Fire also congratulates client Downtown Music Publishing, who recently entered into a long-term partnership with hit-making songwriter and Producer of the Year, Non-Classical nominee Benny Blanco. Twelve of Downtown's clients have received nods or have played significant contributions to 20 nominations, across a variety of categories. Additionally, Nineteen85 received a Producer of the Year, Non-Classical nomination for work that includes Shore Fire client James Vincent McMorrow's "Rising Water" and "We Move."
