Shore Fire Media Hires Mike Jones As Senior Account Executive

May 13, 2021--Shore Fire Media, a leading PR firm for entertainment, arts, and culture, welcomes Mike Jones as a senior account executive. Jones will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office.

Jones comes to Shore Fire from Dim Mak, an LA-based independent music label where he has served as Director of Publicity since 2015. At Dim Mak, Jones oversaw company-wide PR initiatives pertaining to releases, merchandise, music videos, pop-ups, and live events. The label’s artists ranged across genres including hip hop, indie rock, punk, hardcore, and electronic dance music.

Prior to Dim Mak, Jones was a publicist at Stunt Company in Brooklyn, NY, where he spent four years working with artists including Mat Kearney, …And You Will Know Them by the Trail of Dead, and Ash, among others. Concurrently, he co-founded digital dance music label Party Boy Records and performed as a DJ with Scratch Music Group where he DJ’d high-profile events for Justin Timberlake, Saks Fifth Avenue, and more.

Jones was born in Boston, MA and raised in New Canaan, CT. He earned his BA in Sociology at the University of Vermont and his MA in Photography & Urban Culture at Goldsmiths, University of London.
