Shore Fire Media Hires Nora Lyons As Director Of Publicity

BROOKLYN, NY --- Shore Fire Media, a multi-disciplinary PR firm representing talent, musicians, and businesses in arts and entertainment, welcomes Nora Lyons as Director of Publicity. Lyons is based out of the company’s Brooklyn office, reporting to Senior Vice President Rebecca Shapiro. Lyons came to Shore Fire following three years as Assistant Director of Communications at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, where she handled media relations, social media, and marketing materials. She held three successive posts with the flagship New York Public Library---Press Representative, Senior Publicist and Assistant Director of Media Relations---beginning in 2014, and earlier served as a publicist at the 92nd Street Y in Tribeca. Lyons started her career in 2008 as an intern, and later as a Junior Account Executive, at Shore Fire Media. A Brooklyn resident, she earned a BA in English with a minor in Philosophy at Kenyon College.
