BROOKLYN, NY --- Shore Fire Media, the leading PR firm representing top talent, musicians, and businesses in arts and entertainment, has promoted Chris Taillie to Vice President. Taillie joined Shore Fire’s Brooklyn office in 2007 and was previously a Publicity Director.

Taillie has been an integral part of Shore Fire’s recent growth, whether it’s providing mentorship to younger staff members or leading exemplary publicity campaigns. His music clients — which include Angélique Kidjo, Cyndi Lauper, esperanza spalding, Floating Points, Jacob Collier and Rhiannon Giddens among others — represent a diverse range of artists at the top of their respective fields, and he has steered over 20 GRAMMY-winning campaigns.

Taillie’s work has included campaigns for top rap and electronic artists (Action Bronson, Bonobo, DJ Shadow, Ghostface Killah, Open Mike Eagle), acclaimed indie acts (Cat Power, Dirty Projectors, Lido Pimienta, St. Vincent), trailblazing jazz musicians (Vijay Iyer, Terri Lyne Carrington, Alice Coltrane, Trombone Shorty), and influential living legends (Rick Astley, Judy Collins, Booker T. Jones, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Loudon Wainwright III). He has also played a key role in establishing Shore Fire’s music technology roster, working with the live event e-commerce platform Lyte and OneOf, a leading Web3 platform for music and lifestyle brands.

Chris Taillie is the rare New Yorker who can claim statewide credibility from the Hudson River to Lake Erie. He was born and raised in Rochester and graduated with a degree from the University at Buffalo, before early roles in artist management and label services at Velour Music Group set him on a track for a career at Shore Fire. He now resides with his family on Staten Island and is an ardent, if long-suffering, supporter of the Mets and Buffalo Bills.
