 Songfluencer Expands Global Reach with International Team

Michael T Fox named International, Director of Canada and Chelsea Kent International, Director of Europe

Songfluencer, the Nashville-based music marketing firm using data-driven technology to earn music success on TikTok and other social platforms, expands its global reach, naming Chelsea Kent as International, Director of Europe and Michael T Fox as International, Director of Canada

Kent has a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, focusing on international publishing, writer/producer/artist management, and A&R. Her role as International, Director of Europe makes her the primary liaison for all Songfluencer business in Europe, which includes identifying cross-Atlantic opportunities for Songfluencer clients, nurturing relationships with clients and creators, and building out future endeavors in the global arena. 

“Chelsea has worked in various capacities within the international music community, and bringing her on board as part of our International team as our Director of Europe was a perfect fit,” Songfluencer’s CEO Johnny Cloherty explains. “We are proud to have her represent us not only in Europe, but also in territories such as China, Philippines, South Africa, helping expand our overall international reach."

Fox previously held the title of Head of Music Partnerships at World Vision Canada. In his new role as International, Director of Canada for Songfluencer, he will work alongside the company’s co-owner, Chief Technology Officer, and Canadian music industry veteran Louis O’Reilly to expand Songfluencer’s influence in the Canadian market.

Alongside her role at Songfluencer, Chelsea manages global hit songwriter, Tommy Lee James (Robin Schulz, One Direction, Lost Frequencies, Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani), and is an Adjunct Professor at American University.

 

About Michael T Fox:

Michael comes to Songfluencer with a rare music industry journey starting his career climbing through the ropes at EMI Music Publishing Canada as intern, to digital media manager, to creative manager and securing a publishing deal that helped him utilize his gained knowledge to develop artists through songwriting, production and artist management. Always keen in new music marketing tactics through emerging social media platforms, he’s collaborated with independent records labels and co-founded Canada’s first direct-to-fan mobile app Volu.me. After a life-changing trip to Nicaragua and experiencing some of the challenges of how the impoverished can live, he made a drastic career change and pivoted to heading up the music partnership team at Canada’s largest charity for over half a decade being an intersection of the music industry and international development.
