Today, SonReal releases the lush, deliberate and expansive new album ‘The Aaron LP’ on Black Box. Produced by acclaimed mixing engineer and long time collaborator Trevor Muzzy, ‘The Aaron LP’ is an artistic statement that presents Aaron’s growth not only as an eclectic singer-songwriter, but as a genre-bending artist able to navigate folk-tinged acoustic ballads and intensely personal hip-hop joints with ease.

Early praise for ‘The Aaron LP’ has come from Zane Lowe’s Beats1 who debuted the soul-infused Jessie Reyez feature “Healing” earlier this week. Inspired by a time in need, Reyez and SonReal’s outpouring of vulnerability of the "slow-burning" (Earmilk) duet is just one of the album’s ten track genre defiances.
