"Southern-Gothic Blues" At Rockwood, March 17th

On Monday, March 17th, NYC jazz scene-staple Sean Sullivan will perform at Rockwood Music Hall, playing what he calls the "southern-gothic blues" found on his latest album 'Hereafter.' Sullivan's music "infuses Americana, folk, and blues into Latin jazz" (Utne Reader), winning praise from Relix, Yahoo! Music and USA Today who said it "recalls the '70s recordings of Boz Scaggs and Al Jarreau."

Sullivan spoke with Bloomberg TV last week about his career in music, being mentored under jazz legend Jon Hendricks and his "eclectic" (Yahoo! Music) new album. Watch it here.
