St. Vincent Premieres “Digital Witness” Music Video From Upcoming Self-Titled Album

St. Vincent Premieres "Digital Witness" Music Video From Upcoming Self-Titled Album

St. Vincent -aka Annie Clark - unveils the music video for "Digital Witness," the first single off her new self-titled album (out Feb 25 via Loma Vista). Directed by Chino Moya, the video shows St. Vincent commanding a surreal and futuristic world in which action is synchronized, replicated and repeated. http://po.st/DigitalWitnessyt

The track itself tackles identity in the era of Instagram, with St. Vincent singing, "If I can't show it / If you can't see me / What's the point of doing anything?" NPR called the track "fantastically gritty," and Pitchfork said, "It's as celebratory as it's cautionary, relentlessly likable (and Like-able) even as it's acerbic."

Hailed as her best album yet by NPR's Bob Boilen, 'St. Vincent' showcases Clark at her most assured and gripping as she meshes distorted, aggressive electric guitars and bold vocal and synthesizer arrangements on top of a relentless rhythm section.

St. Vincent will kick off an extensive US tour with her biggest NYC headlining show to date at Terminal 5 on Feb 26. See full dates here: http://ilovestvincent.com
