Multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki launches Audio Media Grading, a new company, and first of its kind, in partnership with Collector Archive Services (CAS) to provide grading, preservation, and authentication services for grading vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, and 8Track. Similar to how trading cards are graded professionally, Aoki’s new venture will assign a numerical score (1-10) based on the asset’s condition. For the first time ever, collectors and audiophiles can see how their physical audio media grades in comparison to others’ collectible audio media.

Aoki, an ever-present artist at the forefront of innovation, has partnered with CAS to deliver the absolute best in audio collecting services. As one of the most successful cross-genre artists in the world and a voice for the future of business, tech, and innovation, his thoughtful leadership in the world of technology has placed him on the cover of Adweek's Creator Visionary Awards issue and Entrepreneur's December Web3 issue in 2022. Now, with Audio Media Grading, Aoki and CAS are looking towards the future of music for collectors.

“I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Audio Media Grading. CAS and I share the same passion for innovation and music, wanting the best for our fans and community. Together, we are building the future of music collectibles and physical technology,” Steve Aoki shares.

“CAS is thrilled to partner with Steve Aoki, one of the most passionate, admired, and recognized collectors in the world, in forming AMG," said Ross Barr, Principal and Managing Member of CAS. “Combining Steve's expertise and influence in the music industry and his passion for the collecting community with CAS's state of the art grading, preservation, and authentication services positions AMG to make a tremendously positive impact on vinyl and other audio media collectors by offering them a first-of-its-kind option for grading, preservation, and encapsulation of their beloved collectibles.”
