Swedish Singer-Songwriter ISA Releases Pop-Rock Anthem “Nobody Said” via Corite

Today, Swedish singer-songwriter and producer ISA releases “Nobody Said” via fan powered platform Corite, ahead of her EP to follow later this year. Co-written by ISA, the song is a wake up call to live in the present, without holding on to any preconceived notions of who you thought you’d be by now. Beginning her writing process with the guitar line and building on production by Gustav Landell, ISA says the lyrics came to her naturally as a sort of catharsis. The upbeat pop-rock anthem contains a catchy chorus and a build reminiscent of early 2000’s pop hits with a punky punch.
“What inspired me was my relationship to myself at the time, and my view on time and youth, explains ISA. “I liked the fact that a big and serious subject was camouflaged in a pop and uplifting sound.”
The 24-year-old emerging artist first hit the Swedish pop scene in 2012, releasing a string of music and collaborating with artists such as 3X Grammy nominated artist, Garren. This Spring she released her first single in two years, the dreamy ballad “Happy Again,” which was featured on New Music Friday Denmark. The single was a departure from her signature upbeat pop sound, revealing a new side of what’s to come for her upcoming EP. ISA also recently performed in LA showcases at Thirteen Play lounge and Peppermint Club.
