Tash Sultana Earns First Top 10 Billboard Debut With 'Flow State,' Out Now On Mom + Pop Music

Tash Sultana's debut album 'Flow State,' released August 31st on Mom + Pop Music, debuted on the Billboard charts this week at #8 on the Top Current Albums Chart, and earned a spot in the Billboard 200, an impressive opening for the busker-turned-internationally acclaimed superstar. The album also opened at #3 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart, #4 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart, and #8 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. 'Flow State' also made major waves in her home country of Australia, landing at #2 on the Aria charts, and the album has already racked up over 20 million streams globally, with Tash logging over 250 million streams overall.

The unstoppable multi-instrumentalist has also released a new video for 'Flow State' favorite "Free Mind" that features footage from Tash's US summer festival run, which saw her performing at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Governors Ball. 'Flow State' has earned widespread praise from Rolling Stone, who dubbed it "a top-to-bottom showcase of her varied virtuosity," saying, "Sultana's thrown down the gauntlet forcefully," Billboard, who said, "[Flow State] defies genres in an expansive and entirely individual collection of tracks," and Uproxx, who called it "bold, innovative, and masterful, much like the artist who created it." Consequence of Sound called 'Flow State' "a record that lives up to all the promise and hype," and name Tash their Artist of the Month for August.
