Listen to The Avett Brothers via Ramseur Records/American Recordings/Thirty Tigers, and watch the brand new music video for "Orion's Belt": HERE

Produced by longtime collaborator Rick Rubin, The Avett Brothers is an album interested in the divine unknowable, as much untitled as it is self-titled. Songs like "Love Of A Girl," "Country Kid" and "Forever Now" seek the sacred in the commonplace: a cheap cup of coffee, broken hearts and school bus lessons, a baby's first steps, growing older and holding on to one's roots, losing someone and accepting fate, rediscovering hope and finding sanctity in tragedy...ultimately reveling in the fun and surrender of what we cannot understand.

Recorded in Malibu, Nashville, Mar Vista, and the band's hometown of Concord, NC, the album is also one that revealed itself naturally over time, and on Monday's broadcast of NPR's All Things Considered, Scott and Seth Avett will discuss the process further with host Juana Summers.

As their first LP on Ramseur Records/Thirty Tigers since 2007's EmotionalismThe Avett Brothers is at once a cumulative opus and fresh start for the band's future, featuring a 32-page chapbook of beautiful illustrations by Scott Avett, an embossed gatefold jacket on custom vellum paper stock, a printed red flood interior and more that's included with the impeccably-crafted vinyl LP.

After Forest Hills Stadium in NYC, The Avett Brothers continue on a run of shows that will take them to three nights at Red Rocks, SoFi Stadium with Luke Combs, and dozens of amphitheaters with support from Sierra Ferrell, Iron & Wine, Little Feat, Dawes, Melissa Etheridge, G. Love & Special Sauce, Trampled by Turtles, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Houndmouth and Jamestown Revival. Find the list of dates below and tickets at
