The Bros. Landreth Share A New Song You Can “Drive All Night” To (Out Now)
Today (4.13), JUNO-winning duo The Bros. Landreth share their song “Drive All Night,” the latest from their anticipated ‘Come Morning’ album, out 5.13 via Birthday Cake Records. Listen here: thebroslandreth.ffm.to/drive
“This song is a fusion of where we started as artists to signs of things to come,” says Joey Landreth. "Whether it’s a new direction or just a detour, at the core of it are heartfelt lyrics telling a story. In this case, a story of my ever-growing love for my wife, Anna. The first verse tells the story of the beginning of that love and the second verse catches you up with where we are now. The extended outro section is a look ahead.”
Written by Joey and Dave Landreth, “Drive All Night” is a synth pop-infused indie rock tune where sounds inspired by Dawes meet fretwork inspired by John Mayer’s “I Guess I Just Feel Like.” It showcases new sonic territory for The Bros. Landreth who experiment with mellotron flutes, Wurlitzer and driving percussion from Aaron Sterling (Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, John Mayer). On an immersive and emotive album that tells a personal story of the Landreth brothers’ growth over the years, “Drive All Night” is the part where Joey Landreth confesses his ever-growing love for his now wife, from the first date feels to where they are now as parents.
