THE CACTUS BLOSSOMS ANNOUNCE HEADLINING U.S. TOUR FOLLOWING MARCH 1 RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM ‘EASY WAY’

The Cactus Blossoms Announce Headlining U.S. Tour Following March 1 Release of New Album 'Easy Way'

RELEASE LIVE VIDEO FOR "ORBISON-MEETS-TELEVISION" (ROLLING STONE) NEW SONG "PLEASE DON'T CALL ME CRAZY"

The Cactus Blossoms will bring their upcoming album 'Easy Way' (March 1) on the road for the first time this April, announcing headlining shows across the eastern United States in support of the new release. The blood harmony brother duo have spent the winter previewing new material in their hometown of Minneapolis, initially at the iconic First Avenue in November and then at their old St. Paul stomping grounds The Turf Club as part of a January/February weekly residency. Those early shows have been met with an abundance of praise from local media, with the Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Tim Campbell noting the group "looked ready for prime time."

To accompany the announcement, The Cactus Blossoms have also shared a thrillingly captured live video for new song "Please Don't Call Me Crazy," with special guest Mike Lewis (Bon Iver, Andrew Bird) on saxophone. Released in December, Rolling Stone praised the song for its "freak of genetics harmonies" and "Orbison-meets-Television style." The New York Times added "The sound is retro, but the words are up to the minute."

Produced by The Cactus Blossoms and recorded at Reliable Recorders (JD McPherson) in Chicago, 'Easy Way' features ten new, original songs, and special contributors including Dan Auerbach (who co-wrote two tracks), Joel Paterson (Devil in a Woodpile) on pedal steel, and Lewis. The new record follows a number a milestones for the brothers, including tours with Kacey Musgraves and Jenny Lewis, performances on prestigious stages ranging from Newport Folk to Lincoln Center, and a perfectly cast appearance on the third season of David Lynch's Twin Peaks.
