The Game drops debut NFT collection today on green marketplace OneOf

OneOf - the green NFT marketplace built for the music community - has today released the first part of their “Genesis” collection with rapper The Game. The collection is inspired by a mix of his favorite hobbies and album releases. The drop is principally geared towards fans, with NFT prices starting at just $25.

“I have been able to put forth my creative vision on display and show, not only the growth of my music career but also show the passion I have for basketball and gaming with these digital card packs. The Genesis NFT Collection will give a nod to my first album, "The Documentary" and "Jesus Piece", and will also have two (2) unreleased tracks for my fans”

The Game’s genesis collection will consist of two (2) drops. Each drop is a pack of four (4) different cards. The “Get In The Game” pack has dropped today at a fixed price of $25 and contains a randomized set of NFT action figure cards, and fans have a 50% chance of winning a Gold tier NFT card. 

The next drop in The Game’s “Genesis” collection will be the rarer “Elevate The Game” pack dropping on October 8 at a fixed price of $99. The “Elevate The Game” pack will guarantee 2 Gold tier NFT cards, plus a chance to win a Platinum tier NFT card. Then the “Master The Game” pack will drop on October 12 at a fixed price of $299 and will guarantee 2 Platinum tier cards, excluding Green tier cards, and will feature a bonus fifth card. There will also be a video component featuring unreleased music.

OneOf launched their platform in August with the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival and quickly followed with their debut artist collection: a 26,000 token collection drop from Doja Cat. An auction for the one-of-a-kind item in her collection was sold for $188,000, making it the single largest auction transaction on Tezos, the blockchain protocol that OneOf is built on. 

OneOf’s second auction - a digital iHeartRadio Music Festival poster designed by famed artist Cory Van Lew - sold for $139,210. As part of an ongoing OneOf partnership, 100% of all proceeds raised were donated to Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, which works with global partner United Nations Human Rights to advocate for urgent action to protect the rights of people around the world suffering from the devastating effects of climate change.
