Today, Canadian rock quintet The Glorious Sons head out on an extensive North American headlining tour that will see them play venues like Boston’s Sinclair, Brooklyn’s Rough Trade, and LA’s Roxy. It’s an exciting moment for the band and has already been met with a number of sold out shows in cities like Chicago, Seattle, Detroit, and more.

On February 23rd, the band will perform at The PreGame at the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™— a fan festival at Wells Fargo Center’s Parking Lot G featuring live music, hockey activities, attractions, and more —before the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins face off at Lincoln Financial Field at 8 p.m. ET. The festival is free to the public and The Glorious Sons perform from 6-7 p.m. ET. The band will also play the second intermission of the Penguins-Flyers game, which will be broadcast live on NBC. More information on the performances can be found here: https://www.nhl.com/fans/stadium-series

The tour follows the band’s unprecedented success surrounding breakout track “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun),” which held the #1 spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart for four weeks in a row. Last week, in celebration of the occasion, The Glorious Sons shared the intimate unplugged acoustic version of the song. Earmilk praised its "raspy...unfiltered emotion" as well as the band’s "honest songwriting that stirs the soul." Recently, The Glorious Sons sat down with The Toronto Star to discuss the success they’ve achieved in their home country. Read their full story here: https://bit.ly/2UP5Rca

“S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” comes from The Glorious Sons’ studio album ‘Young Beauties and Fools,’ which won the 2018 Juno award for Best Rock Album. Following its release in October 2017, the band slugged it out on the road making fans the old fashioned way, touring across the US and building a devout fanbase with its high-spirited energy and grassroots approach. The band’s extensive touring route, which already includes several sold out shows and main stage festival performances, can be found below.
