The Iridium Hosts Albert Lee, Jane Monheit, Ralph Peterson, and Terese Genecco's 100th Show In August

The Iridium wraps up summer with longtime favorites, including guitarist Albert Lee, vocalists Jane Monheit and Terese Genecco, drum masters Ralph Peterson and Ulysses Owens, Jr., and more. Check out some of August's highlights below: 

August 5: Jane Monheit w/ The Les Paul Trio - Grammy-nominated vocalist Jane Monheit returns to the Iridium for a special performance with The Les Paul Trio. Her recent visit to the club was beautifully captured on 'A Jazz Tribute to Les,' the debut release on the club's IridiumLive label, which also featured performances by Nels Cline of Wilco and jazz guitar legends Stanley Jordan and Bucky Pizzarelli.

August 14: Todd Barkan's Keystone Korner Nights at The Iridium Presents Ralph Peterson and The Unity Project with Marcus Strickland, Josh Evans and introducing Jake Sherman - Peterson, who has toured and recorded with Art Blakey, Branford Marsalis, The Count Basie Orchestra, and countless others, will celebrate the release of his new album, 'Alive at Firehouse 12, Vol 1.' 

August 16-18: Albert Lee - Widely hailed for his finger-style and hybrid picking technique, Albert Lee helped to redefine country guitar for a whole generation of players with his song "Country Boy," and has performed extensively with Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, and The Everly Brothers to name just a few.

August 25: Todd Barkan's Keystone Korner Nights at The Iridium Presents Ulysses Owens Quartet - Multi-Grammy Award Winning drummer Ulysses Owens Jr. leads an all-star quartet featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra trumpeter Marcus Printup along with pianist Christian Sands and bassist Matt Rybicki

August 27: Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band 100th Iridium Show - The longest-running nightclub act on Broadway celebrates her 100th show at The Iridium. The New York Times described her show as a "wild party," while the Wall Street Journal wrote that she "makes every show seem like New Year's Eve."
