The Nacelle Company To Release Scott Cherry’s Barbarian Rage Comic Series

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Nacelle Company, the studio behind Netflix’s The Movies That Made Us, The Toys That Made Us, Behind The Attraction for Disney+ and the Emmy Award winning Down To Earth with Zac Efron have announced they’ve partnered with artist, toy maker and author, Scott Cherry, to release Barbarian Rage, one of the first comic books ever created using action figure photography.

Barbarian Rage reveals a new dimension in fantasy comics never seen before! When a wizard and a barbarian stumble upon a treasure trove, they think it's theirs for the taking. However, a massive demon-spider won't let them get off so easy. They'll have to quit arguing and slay the beast if they want to keep the fortune! Join Kilgarr the Barbarian and Leech the Wizard as they unlock the secret of "The Spider's Treasure"!

Scott Cherry is a Southern California based artist best known for his original toy art. His work has been featured in gallery shows across the country and has sold thousands of handmade action figures and art pieces across the globe. When he is not hand crafting every single infinitesimal detail of the Barbarian Rage comic book, he is off playing with toys, making toys, or crushing up toys and snorting them.

Recently Nacelle announced their expansion into book publishing, with deals for Jenny Mollen’s new novel, and the recent release of Rack Toys: The Definitive Edition. Barbarian Rage is the most recent addition to an already stacked opening slate for the NacelleBooks division.

“I wanted to combine my passion for toy making with my love of comics by creating a comic book that has the look of a stop motion cartoon. It’s a little bit Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, a little bit Krull, and a whole lot of Ghoulies 3: Ghoulies go to College.” said Scott Cherry.

“Scott’s creativity and imagination are what take this story to the next level and makes it truly engaging to the audience. We hope you all love it as much as we do!” said Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder and CEO of The Nacelle Company.
