The Strypes' US LP Debut 'Snapshot' Out March 18, Top 5 Album In UK + Japan

US TV Debut On Conan Jan.27

The Strypes, an Irish quartet exploding in the UK with their break-neck rhythm and blues, will release their US full-length debut 'Snapshot' on March 18 via Photo Finish Records.  They will also make their US TV debut with a performance on Conan January 27th.

The US version of 'Snapshot' will include unreleased material as well as all of the songs on the UK version, which debuted in the Top 5 in the UK and Japan in September and was hailed as "one dizzying burst of energy after another" by The Independent.  The band also just completed an arena tour ofEurope and the UK with Arctic Monkeys.

'Snapshot' is a blistering debut album of guitar licks and feedback, a fresh take on seminal rhythm and blues and early rock n roll.  "Mystery Man,"one of several original songs written by the band, is a muscular rock song- crisp, fast and loud.  "What The People Don't See" is pumped up with four on the floor drums and wailing harmonica.  They also cover Nick Lowe's "Heart of the City" and two blues classics, "You Can't Judge A Book" and "Rollin' & Tumblin.'"

The Strypes have played Jools Holland and were deemed "the best live band in the UK" by Q.  Watch the band play "Mystery Man" live at a hometown Dublin show, premiered by Rolling Stone: http://youtu.be/9jPcx_5I0Zo
