November 4, 2025 // The third annual Montreux Jazz Festival Miami has been announced, taking place Friday February 27 to Sunday March 1, 2026, in Miami, FL. Performers include Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, GRAMMY-winning producer and hitmaker Nile Rodgers with his legendary band CHIC; six-time GRAMMY-winning pop-rock icons TOTO; Colombian electro-tropical innovators Bomba Estéreo; Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, the high-octane New Orleans band led by genre-defying multi-instrumentalist Troy Andrews; a special performance from Cuban percussionist/singer Pedrito Martinez; French-Caribbean soul-funk bassist and singer Adi Oasis. Trombone Shorty and seven-time GRAMMY and Academy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and composer Jon Batiste will also join forces to host a New Orleans celebration with surprise guests - an explosive night of collaboration and improvisation that embodies the festival’s spirit. Additional performers and special guests will be announced soon.
This one-of-a-kind weekend of world-class performances returns to The Hangar at Regatta Grove, an intimate 1500-capacity venue in Coconut Grove, bringing a distinctly Miami version of Montreux Jazz Festival - “the Rolls Royce of music festivals” - to the shores of The Magic City.
Montreux Jazz Festival Miami is a playground for creative exchange, where genres blur, legends emerge, and cultural walls disappear. From surprise collaborations to jams with dozens of artists on stage that go deep into the night, each moment feels unrepeatable. The late night jams, hosted by festival co-founder and 2025 headliner Jon Batiste, have become a calling card, beckoning artists to the stage - like Maxwell, Shania Twain, and Will Smith - who have all previously made unannounced appearances.
Batiste has played an integral role in bringing the spirit of Montreux to South Florida. As the festival’s artistic director and co-founder, Batiste has helped shape the programming and creative vision from the very beginning, curating lineups that prioritize musical spontaneity, collaboration, and boundary-pushing performances.
Following last year’s sold out success - which drew coverage from Rolling Stone, Essence, and Forbes - and featured performances by Batiste, Chaka Khan, Janelle Monáe, WILLOW, Monsieur Periné, Cimafunk and Latin greats including Chucho Valdés and Paquito D’Rivera - Montreux Miami 2026 reaffirms its status as one of the most unique and intimate live music experiences in the world.

“Montreux has always been about bringing people together through music and breaking down the walls between styles and cultures. Bringing that energy to Miami has been such a joy. The city has its own rhythm and soul, and every night here feels alive in a way that’s completely unique. You never know what’s going to happen, and that’s what makes it so special.” — Jon Batiste, Artistic Director, Co-Founder
Wynwood-based audiophile vinyl listening bar Dante’s HiFi will return with a pop-up installation. Dante’s co-owner and legendary DJ Rich Medina will also be curating a team of DJs. A selection of Miami’s best restaurants will be on-site, to be revealed soon.
The festival also continues its collaboration with GRAMMY-winning producer and cultural icon Emilio Estefan, who joined as an investor and co-owner in 2025. A pillar of Miami’s music legacy, Estefan brings invaluable vision and local connection to the Montreux brand, helping to shape its identity as both a global music institution and a uniquely Miami experience. His involvement deepens the festival’s ties to the city’s rich cultural fabric and amplifies its mission to foster creativity across borders.
Tickets are on sale now. Additional performers and programming will be announced in the coming months. For tickets and more information: https://www.mjfmiami.com
