Album Release Show Takes Place Tomorrow Night At Nashville's Ryman Auditorium With Ramblin' Jack Elliott + Us Tour Dates Continue Through End Of 2022 With Ray Wylie Hubbard, Tommy Prine And More

Todd Snider has unveiled 'Live: Return Of The Storyteller' today, a 27-track collection captured during his first shows back after audiences were allowed to gather again last year. For a lifelong troubadour, on the road for most of three decades before the pandemic, there's a rush of palpable emotion as Snider reunites with fans after such a period of uncertainty...joy, relief and gratitude; but also the poignant realities of friends lost along the way. For Snider, this includes some of the great American songwriters who took him under their wing, like late legends John Prine and Jerry Jeff Walker. On 'Live: Return Of The Storyteller,' he remembers these heroes with moving and incredibly human tributes, as he continues to carry on their musical spirit into an uncharted era for the troubadour tradition.

Along with the release of 'Live: Return Of The Storyteller,' Snider's songs continue to be celebrated across the spectrum of music and arts. Filmmaker Justin Corsbie took inspiration from the lyrics of Snider's mid-aughts fan favorite "Just Like Old Times," and turned the tune into Hard Luck Love Song; a full-length feature film released theatrically last fall. Music writer Brian T. Atkinson is currently working on a biography of Snider, in which he interviewed some of the songwriter's biggest fans including Loretta Lynn and Richard Lewis. Snider was also just inducted into his home state's Oregon Music Hall Of Fame, and his "Talking Reality Television Blues" was covered by Tom Jones on an album of work from his favorite songwriters (also including Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens). Through it all, Snider continues to shine a light on the incredible generation of troubadours who came before him, and will tour this year with Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Ray Wylie Hubbard, as well as the next generation including Lilly Hiatt and Tommy Prine.

Todd Snider will continue his American Troubadour Tour with a special hometown stop at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium tomorrow night alongside Ramblin' Jack, with dozens of dates continuing through the end of the year. A full list is below with tickets on sale here: https://toddsnider.net/tour/
