Two-time PGA Champion Akshay Bhatia is challenging the status quo, both on and off the course. From his already impressive career to his closet, the 22-year-old has quickly risen to represent a new wave of excellence – and today (1.2), leading performance apparel brand TravisMathew welcomes him as their latest brand ambassador.

About Akshay Bhatia: 

As one of golf’s most exciting young talents, Akshay Bhatia has already made his mark on the game with a growing list of major achievements and broken records. After turning professional at age 17, he secured victories on several smaller tours in 2020 and 2021 before winning his first Korn Ferry Tour at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic in 2022. The next year, Akshay earned his PGA Tour card in a playoff win at the 2023 Barracuda Championship, and went on to achieve both a T35 finish at the Masters Tournament and a T16 finish at the U.S. Open in 2024. Despite still being one of the youngest pro golfers, Akshay’s swing is revered as a model for many aspiring professional golfers.
